Note: The SuperDAT utility allows you to upgrade your scanning engine and your virus signature (DAT) files. The regular DAT (X-DAT) utility only updates the DAT files. New engines are only created as needed, approximately every 3 to 6 months, so updating with the SuperDAT is not always necessary.
